Can I use my VISA / Master debit card?
Yes, you can. First, follow the usual application procedure for the exam and then if this application is successful, payment may be made using your debit card. (All card account numbers must be 16 digits long)

No, you can not. Only PC is acceptable.

How much is the Administrative Fee?
In addition to the above fees, an administrative fee will also be charged. The amount will be indicated on Basket Contents page.
* Some schools do not require the administrative fee, please confirm with the application form/document of each school.

Some credit card companies may charge an "Overseas use fee" as well as "Administrative fee". As those fees are charged by the credit card companies, please contact the credit card company directly for details.

Error message (No response) Warning message is displayed.

School Information service can not answer any questions.

Screen does not go to next page after input and click. (No response)
  Solutions vary according to PC environment. Too much resident software may result in memory insufficiency and slow operation speed. In the case of an overabundance of resident software (Software that is displayed as an icon near clock on lower right screen in standard setting) in the PC, the problem may be solved by closing the software temporarily following the next procedure.

1.
Disconnect internet connection and reboot PC (If there is insufficient memory, it is possible that the system will not work properly unless you reboot PC.)
2.
Right click the icon of seldom-used resident software.
3.
When "close" and "stop" message appear, click "close" to remove software temporarily.
4.
Connect to the site again to confirm if the site works properly.

  When you have access to LAN, there may be a case that the system administrator of LAN performs the setting mentioned above. We recommend that you ask the system administrator about changing the setting. To reset resident software again after temporary removal, please reboot the PC or perform setting following the operation manual of each software.

Not available when "Warning: Page has expired " message is displayed.
  In wireless LAN environment, It may occur that wireless LAN system deletes the necessary data (temporarily saved data in PC) to continue "application for paying" automatically. In that case "Warning: Page has expired" message may be displayed. Using wired network or changing the setting of the connect time of the wireless LAN machinery may possibly solve the problem. Please ask the network administrator or the help desk of the manufacturer of LAN system.

About Application


Is the service available 24 hours a day?
  During payment periods and application periods mentioned in the application documents of each school/institution, you can make a payment anytime (Japan time).
On the starting date of the payment period, you can access from after 0:00am Japan time on E-Payment Site screen.
On the last date of the payment period, please finish card settlement procedure by 11:00 pm Japan time.

Period of the Payment Application
  It depends on each school. Please confirm from application documents and complete payment in time for application period.
* Application deadlines (arrival or postmark) vary by school and by type of application. Please confirm carefully.

Is it possible to apply for a number of schools and entrance examinations at one time?
If you choose the examination of one particular school, you can apply for five entrance examinations. After placing in basket, click "add exam of the same school" button and continue the application process.
If you choose any other school, input basic information and continue to Result screen.
Then click "continue the application process" located in lower part of screen. The screen will return to School Selection.

The message "input the Application Number"is displayed. What is Applicatoion Number?
  It means the number printed on the application form. The entry screen is displayed only when you choose an examination for which Application Number is necessary.

When "No entrance examination in the payment period" is displayed.
  You can only use this system during the payment period (Japan time) as chosen by each school.
Please refer to the examination literature for payment period.

I want to inquire about application contents.
To inquire about the application contents, the followings are needed: "Receipt Number" and "Birth Date" as notified on the application.

I did not receive confirmation e-mail of the application.
  Main probabilities:
1.
E-mail address entry error
2.
Delivery to "Junk mail" folder by the filter of the e-mail software.
  Please confirm these points beforehand in the case of reapplication.
To receive the e-mail, user needs to add sender's domain(@e-shiharai.net).

  It is possible to use a card which carries a name different from that of the applicant/examinee (ie: examinee's parents).

  Once you input your credit card information to confirm the application, credit card companies make online examination. Please directly contact the credit card companies if your card is not accepted.
* If your payment is unsuccessful by using CUP or Alipay, please contact the card issued bank.

After Payment


Is cancellation of the application (refund) possible?
  Cancellation/Refund is not possible. Please directly contact the school information service to ask advice. (The contact address is mentioned in the application/application documents)

I input incorrect information and made an incorrect payment by mistake. What should I do?
  Amendment and Cancellation are not possible. Please write a note stating that you input incorrect user information (please give details) and submit the note to the school with the other documemts. Just to make sure, please contact the school information service as well (after office hours, please contact next morning).

  Reapplication and Cancellation are not possible. Pelase directly contact the school information service to ask advice (the contact address is stated in the application/application documents).
* User information here means : department/course name, total number of departments/courses, chosen examination method, examination place, application number.

  If you did not print out "Application Completed" page, you can check it later on Application Result page. Please enter "Receipt Number" and "Birth Date" to redisplay.
